Roy Potterill is a photographer and builder based in Cape Town.
Photography is where the rest of it meets: events that won’t sit still, brands that need to feel like something, places worth the flight. I’ve shot the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, the Defender Trophy, and campaigns for the kind of clients who only get one take. Between shoots I build the software I wished existed, which is how ByBento and a running experiment called ROYS_OS came to be. Two crafts, one way of working: figure out what the thing actually needs, then make it.
