Matter of Fakt’s KAI collection isn’t really jewellery, or the brand doesn’t want it to be. The pieces are framed as totems. Coral, red twine, gold thread. Tokens of strength and luck, meant to be worn as reminders rather than accessories.
So the photography followed that lead. Less product-on-white, more object-with-weight, shot to feel like the thing means something before you have read a word about it.
The brand’s own line still says it best: “Return to the ocean with us.”
