This is the most complete single shoot on the site, because the brief was really four briefs. Umbro’s range for Score needed product frames clean enough for retail, portraits with actual people in them, editorial that could run in a feature, and documentary that made the whole thing feel real rather than catalogued.
The trick with a day like this is not lighting or lens choice. It is order of operations. You shoot the controlled stuff while everyone is fresh, and the messy, human, documentary frames once the room has loosened up.
